Mendocino Coast Clinics, Inc.
Rural Development is helping Mendocino Coast Clinics, Inc. with a $59,216 Community Facilities grant. This project will help purchase some new medical and office equipment for three facilities – South Street, Sequoia and Cypress. The equipment will include items such as an EKG machine, a laptop ultrasound system, sterilizers, fax machines and shelving units. The new equipment will replace the old, worn out equipment currently being used. They will leverage this grant with $48,450 of additional funds.
Mendocino Coast Clinics offer services in medical, dental, and behavioral services, and new medical and office equipment is vital as the clinics serves 36% of the area population. Many of these patients are at or below the poverty line, and without Mendocino Coast Clinics, Inc. these patients would have a hard time finding affordable health care.
