Overview "Expanding electronic government" is one of the five key elements in the President's Management Agenda. The main goals outlined by the President are to improve IT planning through the budget process, and to champion citizen-centered electronic government resulting in a major improvement in the federal government's value to the citizen. 25 initiatives have been identified by the Office of Management and Budget, and the President's Management Council. These initiatives directly address the movement toward expanded electronic government, and will deliver significant productivity and performance gains across all Departments.
