ePayroll augments the eGovernment agenda by creating greater efficiencies in Federal payroll processing. This initiative will define regulations to help standardize payroll data across the Federal Government resulting in:
- Improved information sharing between performance, budget, and financial management offices
- Increased opportunity for key officers to make well-informed decisions
- The promotion of Federal payroll policies and standards interoperability
- Reduced risk across the Department
ePayroll leverages industry best practices and expertise across all Federal payroll providers, and is aligned with the Presidential Initiative for e-Payroll. This initiative also supports the strategic investment in human capital, as Government employees benefit from cost-effective service through the implementation of best practices.
