Description:
The purpose of the Online Export Assistance and Marketing initiative is to establish a virtual export center for USDA customers, regulated industries, and partners. This export center will enable users to learn about exporting agriculture commodities, accessing permits and requirements for exporting, and gaining market information about potential selling opportunities. The online export environment will also focus on expanding marketing opportunities for small producers, reducing information gaps and search time, and creating an opportunity for collaboration within the industry. This initiative will allow small farmers to aggregate supply in order to fulfill international demand, access a central location for agriculture trade promotion, and use an export assistance toolkit that provides step-by-step assistance for exporting agricultural products. This initiative will integrate with the International Trade and Streamlining effort under Quicksilver.
