USDA Facilities Energy Policy Team The primary objectives of the Team is to expedite and encourage agencies and administrative offices use of appropriations, Energy-Savings Performance Contracts, and other alternative financing mechanisms necessary to meet the goals of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and Executive Order 13123. The Team consists of a mix of competencies (e.g., budget, engineering, legal, procurement, and property management), and include representatives from various USDA agencies and offices. Federal Inter-agency Energy Task Force The Task composed of federal agencies' chief energy managers, addresses energy issues affecting Federal facilities and operations and provides in-depth analysis and recommendations concerning current and pending legislation, technical issues, and coordinated implementation of federal activities. Interagency Sustainability Working Group (ISWG) Chaired by FEMP, the purpose of the ISWG is to serve as a forum for the exchange of information relating to sustainable design activities; encourage federal agencies to consider adopting sustainable design practices; and identify solutions to barriers for the adoption of sustainable design in the federal sector.

You Have The Power (YHTP) YHTP promotes energy-saving practices at federal facilities by disseminating timely and topical information via handouts, posters, the Internet, and other targeted outreach materials.

Federal Electronics Stewardship Working Group The Working Group was formed to develop a common federal strategy for using environmentally preferable and energy efficient technologies and practices to improve the quality, performance, and environmental management throughout the electronics life cycle.
