Jim Bradley

Jim Bradley is the deputy administrator for administrative and financial management in the Agricultural Research Service.

From August 2001 until his selection for this position Bradley served as ARS’s associate deputy administrator for administrative and financial management. He began his career with ARS in 1991 as its deputy director of personnel, after having been deputy chief for affirmative employment programs with the Office of Personnel Management from 1988-91. He began his full-time career with USDA as a personnel staffing specialist with the Food Safety and Inspection Service in Minneapolis, Minn., in 1978, and worked in USDA’s [then] Office of Personnel from 1984-87.

Wiz Horner, ARS’s previous deputy administrator for administrative and financial management, retired from that position following 29 years of federal service. •
