Selmon is the associate administrator of the Rural Housing Service.
Before joining USDA, from 1994 until his appointment to this position Selmon was the executive vice president of DATA COM, a computer business in Houston, Texas, where he coordinated the marketing and sales of computer products and services in addition to supervising managers and account executives. Selmon worked as a assistant manager at The Riggs National Bank of Washington, DC, from 1992-94, where he provided quality control on existing accounts and customer service for new accounts. Eileen Fitzgerald, the previous associate administrator of RHS, is now acting executive director of the McAuley Institute, a national non-profit housing development association headquartered in Silver Spring, Md. • |
