GLICKMAN, SINGER MICHAEL BOLTON, NATIONAL NON-PROFIT LEADERS 
TO ANNOUNCE GLEANING AND FOOD RECOVERY INITIATIVE, RECOVER FOOD FROM
PRESIDENTS' SUMMIT IN PHILADELPHIA

     Pop singer Michael Bolton will join Agriculture Secretary Dan
Glickman, Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell and leaders of national non-profit
organizations in Philadelphia Sunday to announce an initiative to expand
gleaning and food recovery efforts across the country.

     The announcement will take place immediately following "A Taste of
Philadelphia" at the Presidents' Summit on America's Future on Sunday, 
April 27. 

     At 7:30 p.m. Glickman and the other dignitaries will also help
volunteers from local non-profit organization Philabundance recover excess
food from A Taste of Philadelphia in the Great Hall of the Pennsylvania
Convention Center.   

     Glickman is in Philadelphia to participate in the Presidents' Summit
on America's Future.
