GLICKMAN WILL ANNOUNCE CIVIL RIGHTS PLANS, RELEASE REPORT Release No. 0063.97 Laura Trivers (202) 720-4623 Media Advisory GLICKMAN WILL ANNOUNCE CIVIL RIGHTS PLANS, RELEASE REPORT WASHINGTON, Feb. 25, 1997--On Friday, Feb. 28, Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will announce a civil rights plan for action and will release the report presented to him earlier this month by the USDA Civil Rights Action Team. Glickman will brief his Subcabinet and other senior USDA officials on Friday at 11 a.m. and hold a news conference at 11:30 a.m. Interested reporters can watch a live video feed of the Secretary's remarks to employees from Room 107 A in the Jamie Whitten Building. The Secretary's remarks will be available live to USDA employees across the country. The 11:30 a.m. news conference will also be held in Room 107 A.
