USDA'S NASS TO RE-PUBLISH THE MARCH 1, SOYBEAN STOCKS ESTIMATE


     WASHINGTON, March 31, 1997--The U.S. Department of Agriculture's
National Agricultural Statistics Service will release a corrected March 1,
1997, Soybean Stocks estimate at 8:30 a.m. EDT, Tuesday, April 1, 1997.  All
normal release outlets will be utilized in reporting the correction.
