USDA'S NASS TO DELAY RELEASE OF DAIRY PRODUCTS-1996 SUMMARY REPORT

     WASHINGTON, April 25, 1997--The U.S. Department of Agriculture's
National Agricultural Statistics Service has rescheduled the release of the
Dairy Products-1996 Summary report.

     The delay is caused by a computer system crash. The report, originally
scheduled for release today, April 25, 1997 at 3 p.m., is rescheduled for
Thursday, May 1, at 3 p.m.
