GLICKMAN AND CUOMO JOIN FORCES TO FIGHT HOUSING DISCRIMINATION 

     WASHINGTON, July 10, 1997--Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman and Housing
and Urban Development  Secretary Andrew Cuomo will announce Friday that under a
new agreement, USDA will refer all fair housing discrimination claims to HUD
for resolution.  The agreement will result in housing discrimination complaints
being handled more quickly, efficiently, and with more remedies.
