Hill for her public service in the 51st annual U.S. Department of Agriculture Honor Awards Ceremony. "This annual awards ceremony gives me the opportunity to recognize the quality, dedication, and excellence I have found while working with individuals and groups throughout USDA," Glickman said. "Public service is one of life's highest callings. USDA employees take pride in serving the agricultural community and the people of America in a tradition of public service that has been the hallmark of USDA's honor award recipients since its inception. " Hill was recognized for her work to strengthen USDA's relationships with the public, its summer interns, and the Land Grant Colleges and Universities throughout the country. In addition, as director of the USDA Visitor Information Center, she was recognized for the many enhancements she has made to that facility which is located in the Jamie L. Whitten Building on the Mall of the Nation's capital. A native of Hawaii, Hill currently resides in Alexandria, Va. She is active in the Federal Visitors Center Association and Women in Washington. Hill also serves on the Board for the Agricultural Federal Credit Union. #
