AGRICULTURE SECRETARY GLICKMAN TO VISIT SAN ANTONIO MONDAY

Will Address Annual Conference of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and
Universities

     WASHINGTON, Oct. 24, 1997--Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will
address the eleventh annual conference of the Hispanic Association of
Colleges and Universities (HACU) on Monday, October 27 in San Antonio,
Texas.

     The HACU represents more than 200 accredited colleges and universities
that collectively enroll two out of every three Hispanic Americans attending
college in this country.
