GLICKMAN TO JOIN NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION TO RELEASE RESTAURANTEUR'S
GUIDE TO FOOD RECOVERY

     WASHINGTON, Nov. 25, 1997--Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will
join National Restaurant Association CEO Herman Cain at 10 a.m. on
Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Jaleo Restaurant in Washington to unveil a new
handbook aimed at helping restaurants recover and donate unused food to help
feed the hungry.

     Glickman and Cain will be joined by representatives from American
Express, local restaurants, D.C. Central Kitchen, Foodchain, and Second
Harvest to will discuss their organizations' committment to feeding the
hungry.

     Jaleo restaurant is located at 480 Seventh Street, NW, Washington.
