SECRETARY GLICKMAN TO REVIEW USDA'S 1997 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

     WASHINGTON, Dec. 18, 1997--Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will
hold a media availability on Friday, Dec. 19. The Secretary will review
USDA's 1997 accomplishments.  The media availability will begin at 
11:30 a.m. in Room 200-A of the USDA Jamie L. Whitten Building, 1400
Independence Ave., SW, Washington, D.C.
