U.S. AGRICULTURE SECRETARY DAN GLICKMAN TO ADDRESS OXFORD FARMING CONFERENCE

     WASHINGTON, Jan. 2, 1998--U.S. Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will
address the 52nd Oxford Farming Conference in Oxford, England, at Oxford
University.  Glickman will speak  at 11:50 a.m. GMT on Wed., Jan. 7, 1998. 
The address will take place in the Examination Schools, High Street, Oxford. 
Following his speech, the Secretary will hold a press availability in the
Press Room.
