At 1:00 p.m., Glickman will deliver the keynote address at the conference luncheon in the L.A. Davis Student Union Ballroom, on the main campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Glickman will speak about the important role that 1890 land grant universities will play in the next century, issues affecting small and minority farmers, education and research, civil rights and the USDA's strong partnership and commitment to the success of these land grant institutions. Prior to his remarks UAPB, the secretary will be in Lonoke, Arkansas to announce a National Water Management Center.
