GLICKMAN TO HOLD PRESS AVAILABILITY WITH WTO DIRECTOR-GENERAL MIKE MOORE

     WASHINGTON, January 19, 2000   Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman and
WTO Director-General Mike Moore will hold a brief press availability after
they meet on Thursday to discuss efforts to continue world agricultural trade
negotiations.  The press availability will be held in Glickman's office at
approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2000.
