Thestoryisnodifferentforagriculture.Todaytheproductionfrom1outofevery3acresplantedintheUnitedStatesisexported.Priortotherecentdownturnforagricultureworldwide,U.S.exportsreached$60billionannually,thoughtodaytheyarearound$50billion.Clearly,Americanagriculturewouldbecrippledwithoutaccesstoworldmarkets.Andworldmarketswouldbeseverelyhamperediftheydidnothaveaccessto_U.S_Ԁconsumers.Agriculturalimportsfromaroundtheworldtotalednearly$38billionlastyear.
