GLICKMAN AND BARSHEFSKY TO RELEASE U.S. AGRICULTURE PROPOSAL
FOR WORLD TRADE NEGOTIATIONS

     WASHINGTON, June 28, 2000 -- Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman and U.S. Trade
Representative Charlene Barshefsky will join a bi-partisan group of members of Congress on
Thursday, June 29, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. in Room S-207 of the Capitol to discuss the United States'
new agriculture negotiating proposal that will be presented to the World Trade Organization's
Committee on Agriculture.
