U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - General
Information
We are currently recruiting volunteers to assist in the Debris Removal Area in the New Orleans area. A sample job description is below. Please be aware the duties will vary because this is a disaster site. Employees are required to have a government issued travel card and a valid driver's license. Deployment periods are for at least 30-days. Employees will be paid overtime and all travel expenses. Agencies will be reimbursed for these items. Supervisor's approval is required.

FEMA Volunteers in support of ESF #14 -
Long-Term Community Recovery and Mitigation
FEMA has been calling those employees who volunteered for hurricane relief efforts in September. These employees will be reporting to Florida for training and will be deployed to the Hurricane Wilma affected areas. Employees are required to have a government issued travel card and a valid driver's license. Deployment periods are for at least 30-days. Employees will be paid overtime and all travel expenses. Agencies will be reimbursed for these items. Supervisor's approval is required.
