Manages environmental health program for Headquarters Complex facilities, including monitoring indoor air quality (IAQ), presence of environmental contaminants (e.g., lead and asbestos), and food service operations.  Utilizing contract support, conduct annual and as-needed IAQ surveys, and quarterly sanitation evaluations of all food service operations, including childcare facilities.

Manages environmental protection program for NCR facilities.  Specifically, coordinates and oversees management and disposal of hazardous wastes generated by DA operational activities.  Responds to incidents involving the release (unintentional or otherwise) of contaminants into the environment.  Develops response and contingency plans, as required by EPA.
