Digital
Audio files are recorded by TARGET staff onto the computer
and converted to MP3 or CD format for customers. Documents
are read into a microphone by section and are usually split
into separate MP3 files or tracks on a CD. In many cases
it is much simpler and easier for the customer to utilize
an Accessible PDF file.
Before filling Digital Audio requests, a TARGET staff member
will confirm with the customer that audio is the best solution
for their needs. TARGET is not capable of producing books
as audio and in these cases will provide the customer with
a list of resources.
