What services are available through TARGET Web Connect?
Our ultimate goal is to provide a vast majority of our services through
Web Connect. As we roll out this program, we will list
available events, trainings, and services on this page.
Do I need to purchase any special software to access
TARGET Web Connect?
No. TARGET Web Connect is provided using Adobe Acrobat
Connect. Users simply must have a PC with an internet
connection and Adobe Flash Player installed. Most users
already have this functionality. To download Flash
Player, please visit http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer.
Is TARGET Web Connect accessible to people with
disabilities?
Yes. TARGET provides real time captioning of audio,
as well as accessible equivalents of any inaccessible portion
of services delivered via Web Connect. Please contact
TARGET with any concerns about accessibility.
From Adobe: Adobe Connect modules include features
and information to allow content developers to create presentations
that are accessible to anyone with an Internet-connected
desktop computer. Furthermore, Adobe Connect supports Flash
Player 6 (and later), which provides support for accessibility.
We are currently working on additional accessibility and
Section 508 compliance features for the Adobe Connect modules.
