Welcome to the Rural Utilities Service Recovery Act Broadband Program
To provide economic stimulus, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 allocates $2.5 billion to USDA to provide broadband in unserved and underserved communities. RUS will offer grants, direct
loans and loan grant combinations. These funds will be awarded on a competitive basis with unprecedented
transparency and accountability. Funds must be obligated by September 30, 2010.
