RDUP Acceptance Procedures for Terminating Cable
 

In addition to the requirements shown under the general listing procedures, the following information is required in a request for initial acceptance of terminating cables.

Item 1: Test data indicating that the copper conductor joints comply with the finished conductor end product performance requirements of 7 CFR1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables, for each conductor gauge size.

Item 2: Test data indicating that the finished conductor insulation and finished jacketing material complies with the physical end product performance requirements of 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables.

Item 3: Test data indicating that shield joints comply with the finished shielding end product performance requirements of 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables.

Item 4: Test data indicating compliance with the electrical end product performance requirements of 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables, for each conductor gauge size.

Item 5: Test data indicating compliance with the mechanical end product performance requirements of 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables.

Item 6: Test data indicating compliance with the qualification testing (Appendix A) section of 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207),RUS Specification for Terminating Cables.

Item 7: A list of all materials used to manufacture terminating cables to 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables. The list should include the manufacturer of the material, its product designation, and its product data sheet for each material.

Item 8: A 3-foot sample of cable manufactured to 7 CFR 1755.870 (RUS Bulletin 1753F-207), RUS Specification for Terminating Cables.

Item 9: Submit only 1 original and 1 photocopy of the required test data.
