RDUP Acceptance Procedures for
 

In addition to the requirements shown under the general listing procedures, the following information is required in a request for initial acceptance of shield bonding connectors.

Item 1: Information specifying the copper cable, copper wire,and/or fiber optic cable diameters that can be used with shield bondingconnectors manufactured in accordance with REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specificationfor Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 2: A certification that the shield bonding connectors comply with the mechanical requirements of REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 3: Test data indicating that the shield bonding connectors comply with initial connection resistance end product performance requirements of REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 4: Test data indicating that the shield bonding connectors comply with the environmental end product performance requirements of REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 5: Test data indicating that the shield bonding connectors comply with the endurance end product performance requirements of REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 6: Test data indicating that the shield bonding connectors comply with current surge end product performance requirements of REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 7: Test data indicating that the shield bonding connectors comply with the salt fog end product performance requirements of REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 8: A list of materials, plating types, and plating thicknesses used to fabricate the connectors to REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors," PE-33.

Item 9: Identification of the method of shipment of the shieldbonding connectors.

Item 10: A sample of each shield bonding connector size fabricatedto REA Bulletin 345-65, "REA Specification for Shield Bonding Connectors,"PE-33.

Item 11: Submit only 1 original and 1 photocopy of the required test data for the specification.
