RUS accepts color-coded and clear write-on cable markers. The colors for the color coded markers are limited to blue, green, yellow, and white. The main purpose of the markers is to identify cables installed in service area interface housing and buried pedestals.

In addition to the requirements shown under the general listing procedures, the following information is required in a request for RUS product acceptance of cable markers:

1. Technical Data Sheets for the color-coded and/or clear write-on cable markers.

2. Samples of each type of marker.

3. Catalog numbers for each type of marker.

4. Engineering drawings for each type of marker.
