In addition to the requirements shown under the general listing procedures, the following information is required in a request for initial acceptance of cable lashing wires.

Item 1: Copies of ASTM standards referencing the types of materials used in the manufacture of lashing wires.

Item 2: Quality assurance test data for each type and size of lashing wire that is representative of several lots and which demonstrates the reliability of an ongoing quality assurance program.

Item 3: Information regarding the length and diameter of the coils for each type and size of lashing wire.

Item 4: A 3-foot sample of each type and size of lashing wire.

Item 5: Submit only 1 original and 1 photocopy of the required test data.
