Under 7 CFR 1794.24, Proposals normally requiring an EA with scoping, a certain category of Electric Program actions require the use of a scoping process that is similar to those proposals that require an Environmental Impact Statement.   The following projects and links provide  Federal Register Notices and documentation for these proposals.

Proposal Change: GM-Memphis Junction EA Will Now Be Included In The Warren RECC 161 kV Transmission Line Proposal

Upon review of the public comments received on the  Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared for the East Kentucky Power Corporation's proposed GM - Memphis Junction 161 kV Transmission Line, we have decided that the four transmission line proposals to serve the Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (General Motors to Memphis Junction; Memphis Junction to Aberdeen; Barren County to Oakland to Magna; and Wilson to Aberdeen) will be integrated and evaluated under a single EA.
