World Summit on Sustainable Development

United States Department of Agriculture Exhibit

The United States Department of Agriculture and other U.S. agencies took part in a joint United States government exhibit at Ubuntu Village, the exhibit hall at the World Summit, from August 17 to September 8, 2002.

The USDA exhibit tells the story of sustainable agriculture, sustainable forest management, and sustainable rural development activities, both in the United States and in cooperation with developing countries. Large watershed projects and food security projects and programs also are featured. This display will be used at sustainable development related events and meetings over the next year.
