State Efforts to Combat Huanglongbing (HLB)

States are heavily involved as strong USDA partners in implementing a variety of response activities, such as conducting Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) and Huanglongbing (HLB) surveys and ACP treatments, entering into compliance agreements with packing houses to ensure that fruit packing processes meet certain standards to minimize disease spread, and certifying citrus products.
