Dietary Guidelines for Americans
Strategic Partnership Opportunity – Dietary Guidelines for Americans
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) invites your organization to engage in a strategic collaboration to advance the new Dietary Guidelines for all Americans and strengthen their impact across communities nationwide. The main message of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030 is simple: Eat real food.
This edition emphasizes eating whole, nutrient-dense foods while limiting highly processed foods, added sugars, refined carbohydrates, unhealthy fats, and excess sodium to promote health and prevent chronic disease. If you haven’t done so already, we encourage you to go to realfood.gov to learn more. At the United States Department of Agriculture, and with our partners at the Department of Health and Human Services, the health and well-being of all Americans is paramount. Under the leadership of Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins, we are committed to expanding access to practical, science-based nutrition guidance that supports healthy choices, healthy outcomes, and healthy families.
We see significant opportunities to align our efforts with trusted partners to accelerate reach and deepen engagement. Through this collaboration, we can amplify evidence-based messaging, extend the reach of nutrition resources, and support community-informed approaches that reflect the various needs of the populations we serve.
The clear, tangible value of this partnership includes:
- Visibility and recognition.
- Federal alignment through a public partnership between your organization and the USDA.
- Accessibility to resources and content through free promotional materials.
Through the use of a Memorandum of Intent, your organization will join a national effort to advance healthy eating, demonstrate leadership in promoting healthier communities, and align with federal priorities that support long term well-being.
