USDA TARGET Center Commemorates the Contributions of Individuals with Disabilities at USDA and America's Workplaces
During October 2021, join the USDA TARGET Center's accessibility experts, ergonomics experts and trusted partners for the 2021 National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) virtual event in Washington, DC. The USDA TARGET Center is USDA's accessibility center of excellence, established over 27 years ago to support employees with accessible and innovative technology solutions for disability-related and ergonomic concerns.
The NDEAM month-long event commemorates the many and varied contributions of individuals with disabilities to America’s workplaces.
This year's NDEAM theme is “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion”.
To reach the vision of a fully diverse, equitable, inclusive, accessible and innovative workplace, all employees have an important role to play. This year, leading disability professionals have partnered with the USDA TARGET Center to virtually engage with event participants to develop an understanding of disability‑related initiatives, current trends and new technology that support employees, their colleagues, customers, families, and friends.
