AbilityOne

Mission Statement: USDA advocates for increased utilization of the AbilityOne Program to maximize employment opportunities for people who are visually impaired or have significant disabilities to deliver high quality, mission-essential products, and services. It was incorporated by the Javits-Wagner-O’Day Act JWOD in 1938.

Vision Statement: Establishment of an exemplary USDA AbilityOne Program that delivers value to internal and external stakeholders, supports the mission of the AbilityOne Commission, and promotes to the greatest extent possible, mandatory source contracting across USDA.
