Remark:  The role our nation’s dams play in everything from irrigation, power generation, and recreation is important. Yet with several of these structures aging, work is underway to repair and restore dams while educating those living around these facilities about dam safety awareness. Rod Bain talks with two USDA officials involved in the management of, research on, and public safety associated with dams in this edition of “Agriculture USA”.
