This collection of BOAs, officially known as USDA STRATUS, provides rapid access to cloud capabilities.
STRATUS is a collection of Basic Ordering Agreements (FAR 16.703) and is initially scoped to 10 years. Task Orders can be awarded under STRATUS at any time. New Vendors may be awarded STRATUS BOAs annually.
STRATUS contracts may be used by all federal agencies through an Inter-Agency Agreement (IAA) but are not open to state and local governments at this time. This suite of BOAs is available for use by agencies throughout the Federal Government through USDA’s Digital Infrastructure Service Center (DISC). There is no ceiling on STRATUS BOAs.
STRATUS Program Benefits:
- Connects Federal Agencies to Cloud Capabilities including Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) from Hyperscale Cloud Service Providers; Integration and Support Services; and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
- Designed to Maximize Contractor Competition to ensure competitive pricing for Federal Government agencies.
- Enhanced Data Analytics on Procurement including data insights into usage and invoice trend analysis.
Cloud Service Providers (CSPs)
STRATUS customers can obtain computer storage, DevSecOps tooling, software development tooling, security tooling needs, asset/license management, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) through STRATUS.
Cloud Integration Services & Labor
STRATUS customers can purchase a variety of IT labor and integration services including unified intake, governance, cloud architecture, cloud engineering/modernization/migration, security approach, platform operations, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline engineering, continuous authority to operate (C-ATO), development as a Service, and change management.
SaaS and Software Resellers
STRATUS Customers can purchase commercial software or software provided as a service e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Atlassian.
