Chris Berardi

Chris Berardi is Senior Legislative Advisor for the USDA Office of Congressional Relations where he manages interactions between USDA and “The Hill” for multiple mission areas and has managed the “Sherpa” duties for several Senate confirmed USDA appointees. Chris joined the USDA’s Office of Congressional Relations in 2025, prior to joining the USDA Office of Congressional Relations, Chris was the Senior Advisor and Director of Communications for Congresswoman Harriet Hageman. Prior to serving in this role, Chris was the Deputy Director of Federal Policy for Council for a Strong America, a bipartisan nonprofit organization. Other experience includes serving as Communications Director for former Congressman Francis Rooney, leading a political consulting firm, and being elected as a City Council Member for the City of Cape Coral, FL. 

Chris is a proud graduate of the University of Dayton, an avid baseball fan, cook, and dog lover.
