Carter Chain

Carter Chain is a California born Michigander and a Special Assistant for the USDA’s Office of Congressional Relations. Carter got his start in politics interning for then-State Senator now Congressman Tom Barrett right after graduating high school. After dropping out of community college, he worked full time as a Legislative Aide for the Michigan House of Representatives, finishing as an aide for the Michigan House Assistant Minority Leader Andrew Beeler. Carter now handles the US Forest Service portfolio in the USDA’s Office of Congressional Relations.
